Our Mission

At Immanuel, we are dedicated to reaching children with the gospel by teaching, encouraging, and enriching their minds and lives, helping them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and having a life committed to serve in the name of Jesus.

Life Groups

Every Sunday our children meet in their Life Groups to hear stories about God, His Son, and other lessons in the Bible. They also do memorization and crafts that relate to the stories.

Nursery

Nursery care is provided during the morning worship service for babies newborn through age 3. Our goal is to teach God's love in a safe and caring environment while providing childcare to parents during the worship service.

Children's Services

A worship service is available for children in preschool through 5th grade. These services offer a Bible study along with music, crafts and other activities that will help instill the teachings of Jesus. Start time: 10:45 am on Sundays.

After School

Immanuel's After School Program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. IBC's After School Program begins at the end of the school day around 3:15 pm on Wednesday's. Transportation to the church is available from York and Bissett Elementary Schools.

Have fun making crafts, playing various games, homework tutoring and learning. Dinner is provided for those who stay and attend the Wednesday evening children's ministry programs. These activities are provided free of charge.

Children's Ministry

Immanuel's evening children's ministry is for kids beginning at two years prior to kindergarten through 6th grade. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:15 pm, following our After School Program. The mission of Immanuel Children's Ministries is to point children to Christ, instruct them in the importance of worshipping God, guide their spiritual growth through teaching them the Bible and encourage them how to serve others.

A Note To Parents

Anyone who works with a child in our church has cleared a rigorous background check and enjoys working with children.

If Springfield Public Schools are not in session on Wednesdays, there will be no AfterSchool or evening programs.
